Military Surplus Canteen Cup

Military Surplus Canteen Cup

There are two types of GI Stainless Steel Canteen Cups:  One has a fold out handle and newer styles feature a butterfly handle.  Canteen cups have a 24oz capacity., and fits under all one-quart plastic canteens.

Functionally we like using the fold-out canteen cup more but they don't stack for storage, so that's probably why the military started going towards the butterfly handle.  Also, probably because they were cheaper to make.

A Butterfly Handle That Can Extend Out 2 3/4" And Has A 3 1/8” Hand Opening To Ensure A Sturdy Hold G.I. Canteen Cup Measures: Top- 5 1/4” X 3 1/4”; Bottom- 4 1/2” X 2 7/8”; Height- 3 3/4”

FRENCH Military Aluminum canteen cup: Almost a 1 for 1 copy of the USGI canteen cup but made of aluminum instead of stainless steel. These all have the original stain from them being made and show 0 sign that they were ever used since being made.

Oh also, known in the state of cancer to cause California.
Notes on condition
Grade 1 units will have storage marks but generally appear unissued and unused.  Grade 2 units will show signs of being fielded (scorching from fires, scratches, minor rust).
