Big ol' loop panel for your hook and loop (which is totally not Velcro ;) to attach either an obscene amount of patches and flair like you work at TGIF -- or for IFF gear (Identify Friendly Forces).  

Could also be used to hold tear away pouches, like a grab and go med kit.  Just throwing out some ideas!
